“I Could Have Been A Millionaire” Gets Limited Edition Vinyl Release

Today marks the release of the exclusive 7“ vinyl edition of Tom Wardle’s blue-eyed soul single I Could Have Been A Millionaire on New York based It’s Soul Time Records label. The single comes backed with 2009’s northern soul stomper Let Your Love Shine Out as the B-side.
The 7” double-sided single comes on black vinyl packaged in white sleeve and card jacket, with the initial pressing of 500 copies being sold in record stores across the US and the UK.
Label boss Andy Lothian came across the track when it was played on Long Island’s NPR station over the summer and instantly pulled the car over to find out who it was. Says Andy, “I just thought it was an amazing tune and had to get my phone out to Shazam it straight away. I was thrilled to find out that Tom was a fellow Englishman that just so happened to be living in the same town as me! The record has elements of great British blue-eyed soul such as Robert Palmer and The Blow Monkeys, and we’re thrilled to be putting it out on our label.”
I Could Have Been A Millionaire was produced by J.K. Harrison and Tom Wardle in Los Angeles, and sessions were tracked under the supervision of Squeeze’s Chris Difford in London, featuring Tom’s favourite drummer Neil Conti of Prefab Sprout/David Bowie fame on drums. Let Your Love Shine Out is taken from Tom’s debut EP, Another Late Night, produced by Wayne Proctor.
You can get your hands on 1/25 limited edition copies signed by Tom right now for $15.00 plus postage and packaging by clicking on the link at the top.
